Canada Post

A New Way to Mail

Postal Code Marketing, a revolutionary new offering from Canada Post, lets marketers reach their best prospects. By using the rich information found within postal codes, potential customers can be better targeted by demographic, lifestyle and psychographic data.

We made the direct mail package an interactive experience – introducing marketers to the powerful information found within postal codes. This interactive experience didn't require the downloading of an app or a visit to a website. By simply using your mobile phone’s camera, marketers could zoom in on several postal codes and see the wealth of data waiting to be leveraged.

Relax, We Can Help

You already know that Canada Post is synonymous with parcel delivery. What you might not know is the suite of e-commerce solutions they offer to help grow your business. Targeting medium to large enterprises, we needed a piece that drove home the message of how Canada Post can help businesses deliver an online shopping experience their customers would savour, time and time again.

The package included a letter, 6 custom-designed teacups and, of course, a box of tea.

Touch Creates a Reaction

Canada Post’s parcels division has grown exponentially in the last few years but direct mail (DM), on the other hand, has been in decline. The trend has most marketers opting for filling your inbox instead of your mailbox. Canada Post wanted to remind businesses that DM was a powerful part of your marketing mix. A new whitepaper study showed that the physicality of DM has a direct impact on how we consume and retain advertising messages. In fact, the simple act of touching a piece of direct mail leaves an impression. Armed with this knowledge, we aimed to bring that notion to life.
